Quicksilver: Male Character Portraits

Here are the guys for the Quicksilver game. Michelle did the initial sketch but I edited the proportions, redrew a lot of parts, inked, and colored them.

Quicksilver: Female Character Portraits

These are drawings I did for the USC game project Quicksilver. Last year I worked as an animator on the project, but this year I am working on it as an illustrator. Unfortunately, this semester has been much more stressful and I haven't had as much time to dedicate to the project. I wanted to do character portraits for the health bars, and decided to draw the whole bodies. The game has an anime design and I was working based on previous character designs by other artists.

Horse Ride Storyboards

These storyboards were based on a personal experience from childhood, but were expanded to reflect my childish excitement. I ran out of time at the end and I think I need to add a few more shots to tell a better conclusion.

Some Figure Drawing of Men

It seems like forever ago I attended a Anatomical Drawing Society figure drawing session. An art teacher I had in the past also allowed me to sit in. I hope to make better use of that next semester when things calm down. I miss figure drawing. I can feel and see myself regressing in skill.

Some Sketches

Doodling in Story Art Class. I only really like the scarf girl since the others are bland poses.

First Maya Model: Tangled Boat

The assignment for our first Maya model was to build a boat, and I instantly thought of the gondola in Tangled. I am enjoying Maya so far and keep learning new things.

The bench looks crooked from the third view, but I looked at on the top view in Maya and it looks straight.
