This is what I turned in for my final in my story art class. I am going to improve it so that a least a section could be used in a storyboard portfolio. I talked to Tom Sito and he pointed out many things to fix, work on, and think about, like perspective and clear acting and the idea that "good guys go left to right and bad guys move right to left!" I should point out this is based on a true story. My friend had a friend who tried to give a girl he liked a street sign that had her name. They tied the a rope on their car and on the sign, and, actually, they did uproot the pole.
Realized I never put these up. These were the final storyboards I did for a collaboration between my school and a school in Tokyo. We did pre-production and they animated it.
These are two of the characters from my storyboarding final. I think I am going to change the clothes of the shorter character, Tyler because he was more suave in the original idea, but has become more silly since he goes along with Billy's antics.
A few weeks ago the assignment was to create a storyboard based on music. This is based on Check Yes Juliet by We the Kings. I made several continuity, jump cut and screen direction mistakes that were pointed out. There were many suggestions to make this one better.
Here are the guys for the Quicksilver game. Michelle did the initial sketch but I edited the proportions, redrew a lot of parts, inked, and colored them.
These are drawings I did for the USC game project Quicksilver. Last year I worked as an animator on the project, but this year I am working on it as an illustrator. Unfortunately, this semester has been much more stressful and I haven't had as much time to dedicate to the project. I wanted to do character portraits for the health bars, and decided to draw the whole bodies. The game has an anime design and I was working based on previous character designs by other artists.
