Paper Spirits Story Boards

Realized I never put these up. These were the final storyboards I did for a collaboration between my school and a school in Tokyo. We did pre-production and they animated it.

Character Designs: Veronica Street

These are two of the characters from my storyboarding final. I think I am going to change the clothes of the shorter character, Tyler because he was more suave in the original idea, but has become more silly since he goes along with Billy's antics.

Check Yes Juliet

A few weeks ago the assignment was to create a storyboard based on music. This is based on Check Yes Juliet by We the Kings. I made several continuity, jump cut and screen direction mistakes that were pointed out. There were many suggestions to make this one better.

Character Sketches

Sitting next to Lauren in class, I decided to do my own take on what she was drawing.

This one was a random one I drew.

And these are some ideas I was playing with that were scratched from one of the projects I'm working on.

Quicksilver: Male Character Portraits

Here are the guys for the Quicksilver game. Michelle did the initial sketch but I edited the proportions, redrew a lot of parts, inked, and colored them.

Quicksilver: Female Character Portraits

These are drawings I did for the USC game project Quicksilver. Last year I worked as an animator on the project, but this year I am working on it as an illustrator. Unfortunately, this semester has been much more stressful and I haven't had as much time to dedicate to the project. I wanted to do character portraits for the health bars, and decided to draw the whole bodies. The game has an anime design and I was working based on previous character designs by other artists.

Horse Ride Storyboards

These storyboards were based on a personal experience from childhood, but were expanded to reflect my childish excitement. I ran out of time at the end and I think I need to add a few more shots to tell a better conclusion.
