Progress on Story and Other Doodles

First is the sequence of "storyboards" for my final for Writing for Animation class. There not like real boards because I haven't learned how to do them right. I cut a lot of the included text from the actual script

Richelle is the character in the story. I am trying to find how I should draw her.
The rest are random sketches or the original sketches for my final art project last semester. I like the lines of the sketches better than the inked versions.

Self Portrait

I went to CTNX a few weeks ago. I had a lot of fun learning more about animation and meeting people!
I have been slaving over this art project. Life size self portrait. So this is about 6ft by 3ft. My idea was to represent my story ideas as blooming. I made them color because someone's creations are remembered when the personality of an individual is not. I had fun drawing the characters but transferring from the sketch to another paper hanging on my wall and then finally to ink made them lose their line quality. The floral design wasn't planned in advance and probably would be better if it was
I do not like drawing myself, especially life size. I need to work on portraits.

Figure Studies and a Sketch

First is a drawing I did in my sketchbook. I should have been working on an essay, but....I think my guys are getting better from figure drawing. I'm not even gonna pretend my scanner can scan. Everything always looks so bad when I use it.

From Glenn Vilppu's class. Not as good as most of that class's students BUT for me these seemed like I was getting better.

Game Design: Table Top Game

These were done to insert into a powerpoint I made for the explanation of the Tabletop game I created for game design class. (I am a horrible "gamemaster" btw). The game was based on a novel I am writing. Richelle was all ready drawn months before the assignment so I decided to color her. I made Promeas next and then scribbled out and sloppily colored Atlagon. You can tell how much more time I put into Richelle and how the rest were rushed. I don't like the second two drawings and I want to contine to finish up Richelle. I'm still not decided on character design. Atlagon is definitely not going to look like that. Eww.
