Quicksilver: Female Character Portraits

These are drawings I did for the USC game project Quicksilver. Last year I worked as an animator on the project, but this year I am working on it as an illustrator. Unfortunately, this semester has been much more stressful and I haven't had as much time to dedicate to the project. I wanted to do character portraits for the health bars, and decided to draw the whole bodies. The game has an anime design and I was working based on previous character designs by other artists.

End of Game Design + Final Art Project

To end a very stressful class, I had a very stressful final project. For game design, my group (against my will) decided to do a game pitch about pirates vs. ninja vs. robots. I kind of got my way with cooperative play but not really. So I agreed to do two drawings for them. The ninja and the robot for the presentation. (I found a pirate on Deviantart do use for the pitch). These were my quick drawings.

Also in Art class we had to represent an idea with the figure for our final. My theme was that we hide our false identity with another false identity. We are trapped by these false selves. It was done in colored India Ink. It was hard to mix colors and I could not mix a skin tone. It looked like a corpse color!

Game Design: Greek based Card/board game Cards

So in game design my team and me made a board game that incorporated a trading card game mechanic. The game is based in Mysth and so the cards are drawn in a Greek black or red figure painting style. I also made a quick photoshop design of the board.

Game Design: Table Top Game

These were done to insert into a powerpoint I made for the explanation of the Tabletop game I created for game design class. (I am a horrible "gamemaster" btw). The game was based on a novel I am writing. Richelle was all ready drawn months before the assignment so I decided to color her. I made Promeas next and then scribbled out and sloppily colored Atlagon. You can tell how much more time I put into Richelle and how the rest were rushed. I don't like the second two drawings and I want to contine to finish up Richelle. I'm still not decided on character design. Atlagon is definitely not going to look like that. Eww.
